Welcome to Year Four
It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the Year Four teacher at Our Lady’s. I have worked in Year Four for over three years now and I can assure you that it is a wonderful, fun-filled year at school.
In the Summer of Year Four, children will take their Multiplication Check. During our Inspire afternoon, I shared some information regarding the check which you can find on this page for your reference.
When reading the Year Four Yearly Overview document, you and your child will be able to see what exciting topics we have coming up this year. Over the year, we welcome children to bring in books to further support our learning in class. If you do take a trip to the local library, be sure to check if they have any books on The Romans for example, or ‘Impressionism’.
All Sacramental preparations are ran directly through the parish this year, so please get in touch with your parish priest for more information. Father Dominic, works closely with our school and is happy to answer any questions you may have.
