Our Lady’s School Uniform Policy
At Our Lady’s we believe that a school uniform looks smart, wears well and contributes to the feeling of belonging to the school. We expect children from Foundation Stage upwards to always wear school uniform. Names should be clearly marked on all items.
Nursery, Reception, Y1 and Y2
- Maroon sweatshirt/cardigan
- Grey school trousers, shorts or skirt
- Grey/white socks or grey tights
- Blue gingham summer dress
- Pale blue polo shirt
- Black shoes (not trainers)
- EYFS children may wear maroon joggers
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Maroon knitted pullover/tank top/cardigan
- Blue shirt
- Grey school trousers, skirt or shorts
- Grey/white socks or grey tights
- Blue gingham summer dress
- Maroon/Blue striped tie
Our PE uniform
Children wear their PE uniform on their designated PE days. Please check your child’s class page for details of the PE Days.
The uniform is:
– The maroon school sweatshirt/cardigan with or without the school logo;
– Maroon shorts or plain black jogging bottoms/leggings (no brands or logos);
– The official school PE top or a plain white t-shirt with a round neck (no brands or logos);
– Long black shorts – just above the knee (no hot pants type shorts)
– ‘Lightweight’ Trainers these need to be suitable for outdoor physical activity. If your child is unable to tie their own laces, they should be wearing Velcro fastening trainers and practicing tying laces at home.
Please note: Hoodies , Football tops, or tracksuit tops are not PE uniform therefore are not allowed in school. Children will be asked to remove these garments and they will be able to wear a suitable alternative provided by school.
Parents/carers are asked to check Class Dojo and text messages for any extra PE days.
