Extra Curricular Clubs

At Our Lady’s we are very proud of our wide range of extra curricular activities on offer. These are planned with enthusiasm and dedication by our staff and wider community in the best interests of the students.

Clubs are a very important part of school life as they give children a chance to try out activities which may form only a limited part of the taught curriculum. By becoming involved in an extra curricular club children can develop their own special interests and abilities.

Our clubs take place during lunch break or after school and they are run voluntarily by members of school staff or by exceptional outside providers such as Happy Hedgehogs, Ultimate Kids and Mad Science.

The programmes of clubs and activities available is revised termly depending on the time of year and other commitments children may have.

We are pleased to be able to offer:

Music: School Choir

Science: Mad Science Club

Arts:  Craft,  Arts and Design Technology

Sports: Football, Cross Country Running Club, Dodge Ball, Dance Mania, Multi-sports

Well Being:  Board and Card Games, Lego Therapy

Choir Performances
Our School Choir is led by Mrs Jacobson and Mrs Culvin. They have performed at Young Voices for several years and are regular performers at local events and at school events. We were very proud to be asked to take part in a special video produced by Knowsley Council, to celebrate Margaret Aspinall receiveing the Freedom of Knowsley. Our choir, along with four other school choirs, sang “You’ll Never Walk Alone” as a tribute to her tireless campaigning for the Hillsborough Victims.
