It is the policy of Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School to ensure that no pupil with special educational needs is the subject of discrimination. All pupils, including those with SEN, follow the same Admission Arrangements as set out in our Admissions Policy. The Governors consider that our admission criteria should not discriminate against pupils with SEN and should recognise the spirit of the SEN Code of Practice.

Admissions to Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School will be determined by the Governing Body in accordance with the relevant Admissions Policy.

Reception Admissions

Parents must apply for a Reception place online via the Knowsley Council website. Please click on the link below to take you to the Knowsley Website.

Please be aware that you must also complete the ‘Faith Supplementary Information Form’ and return it direct to the school office; a receipt will be issued.

Nursery Admissions

If you wish to apply for a place in our Nursery please download and complete the application form below and forward it to our school email address: ourlady@knowsley.gov.uk

Please ensure the application is completed in full. It is vital all the information that is required is provided.

A birth certificate must accompany your application as proof of age for your child. If your child’s birth certificate is not accessible then your child’s passport will also be accepted. Proof of Baptism is also required if your child has been baptised.

Please note that our Nusery Admissions Policy Selection Criteria will come into force if we are oversubscribed.

In Year Admissions

An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places.

Families wishing to register their interest in a place at Our Lady’s should phone the school to give details for your child/ren, complete the In Year Application Form and return it directly to the school. Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements policy, will be applied.

Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements policy carefully before making their application. If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list, you will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of receipt. You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful.
