Religious Education is a core curriculum subject and as such a minimum of 10% of curriculum time is dedicated to the delivery of the RE and Come and See syllabus. Children are able to engage with this syllabus through a variety of means including song, dance, role play and art. Throughout the year families are able to gain a clear understanding of what is taught through Class Dojo, class assemblies, workbooks, home learning tasks, parents evenings, termly newsletters and end of year reports.
As of September 2024, children in EYFS and Year One will embark on the new RE programme ‘To know you more clearly’. This is an exciting time for our school as we launch this new scheme with our youngest children, before rolling it out fully to all of our children by September 2026.
More information can be found on our termly newsletter, available on Class Dojo and via the links below.

Come and See (Y2- Y6):
Celebration Assemblies
At the end of each topic, we take turns to invite our class families to come into school and see a celebration of our learning. This is a special occasion to share how we are progressing in our understanding and to take time to worship together.
