In September 2018, the Archdiosece of Liverpool were honoured to hold the Adoremus Conference. This marked the beginning of the Year of the Eucharist.

In school we will focus our work as a living catholic community on the Eucharist and the gift it gives to all. Our fundraising and times of collective worship will offer the children an opportunity to be the hands and feet of their friend Jesus.

In November, Father Melly visited school, enabling the whole school community to take part in a special service in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. What a great joy for all and a wonderful way to steer our journey through this year of discovery and appreciation.

As part of this Year of the Eucharist, each year group will raise funds and help those in need.  In December Year 1 led a fundraising event in aid of Save the Children, with a Christmas jumper day. This is one example of the many ways to live out our Mission Statement to ‘Reach out to All’.
